How do I create a gift registry with Sent With Love?
Creating your Sent With Love registry is simple. Create a registry (free), add the gifts you’d love using images and descriptions, then share your registry with your guests.
 
You can edit your registry at any time.  Add or remove gifts, update details, and track contributions as they come in.

Yes. Sent with Love is a modern wedding gift registry that allows guests to contribute toward your chosen gifts, experiences, or funds.

Guests can contribute an amount of their choice toward items or funds you’ve added to your registry. Contributions are collected securely through our platform and are released to you after our standard verification and payout process is complete.

You can also choose to enable gift reservations. When a gift is reserved, it’s marked as taken, and the guest purchases the item independently from a retailer of their choice and gifts it to you directly. Sent with Love does not sell or supply physical items and is not affiliated with any stores.

No. You can add gifts to your registry without linking to a store. Simply upload a photo, name the item, and add a short description so guests understand what they’re contributing toward.

Guests contribute toward that gift through the registry, and contributions are processed securely.

Yes. Shared contributions are one of the best parts.  When adding a gift to your registry, decide on the total value for the gift. You have the option to then allow shares for a gift. If you select this option, you decide on the value of each share. A guest may then purchase multiple shares of this gift, or it may be split among a number of guests.

Guests will see how many shares are remaining for each gift.  They will also be able to see if a gift has been reserved.  Guests will not see who has purchased the gift.

FAQs for Guests

Sent with Love charges a 1.9% platform fee on all contributions. This fee supports the ongoing operation, security, and support of the platform.

Your registry remains free to create and share, and the fee is simply deducted from the gifted amount at the time a guest contributes.


Example:
If a guest contributes $100, the platform fee is $1.90 and you receive $98.10.

 

Guests cover a small processing fee when they make their contribution. This ensures you receive the full amount of every gift added to your registry.

Sent with Love is a platform that helps family and friends contribute toward meaningful gifts. We partner with a secure, trusted payment provider to process and safeguard all contributions.

Funds are held securely in your registry dashboard and become available after account verification, registry completion, and standard security checks. You choose when to transfer funds to your nominated bank account after the initial 30-day hold. Many couples prefer to let contributions accumulate and withdraw when they’re ready to purchase their gifts.

Definitely! Many couples use Sent With Love for baby showers, birthdays, engagement parties, or even anniversaries. The same pricing and benefits apply. 

That’s perfectly fine. You can mark items as reserved, allowing guests to purchase those gifts independently rather than contributing through the registry.

How do I give a gift through Sent With Love?

Giving a gift is simple. Visit the couple’s registry by searching either couple’s name, and enter the password.  Choose a gift you’d like to contribute toward and leave a message for the couple. Your contribution is securely processed and added to their registry total.

Yes. Shared gifting is encouraged. Gifts may be split into shares by the registry holder. Friends and family can chip in together toward larger gifts such as a honeymoon, furniture, or special experiences.

Yes. Sent with Love supports both contribution-based gifting and independently purchased gifts.

Guests can contribute toward gifts selected by the couple, allowing contributions to be collected in one place and released in line with the registry’s verification and payout process.

Couples may also choose to mark certain items as reserved. When a gift is reserved, guests purchase the item independently from a retailer of their choice and gift it directly to the couple. In this case, no contribution is made through the registry for that item.

This approach gives couples and guests flexibility while keeping contributions and independently purchased gifts clearly separated and easy to manage.

Yes. All payments are processed using trusted, industry-standard payment systems. Sent With Love does not store card details, and transactions are handled securely to protect your information. 

Guests may see a small processing fee at checkout. This covers secure payment handling.  All fees are clearly shown before you confirm payment.

Yes. The couple can see contributions and messages, so they know who to thank. Contribution details are shared only with the couple, not other guests.

Absolutely. You will be prompted to leave a personal message during checkout, which the couple will see alongside your contribution.
